Kim Hyun Joong 김현중 to Release New Japanese Single in June

YAY! our Hyun Joong is going to release a new Japanese single in June :)

On April 16, Kim Hyung Joong’s agency announced that his third single album in Japan will be released on June 5. The album will have a total of three songs with a different style for each track. 

The album will also include photos with five different concepts, as well as a limited edition music video DVD for the three songs. Other goodies will also be available in the album. 

Meanwhile, Kim Hyun Joong will be appearing on Korean television for the first in a long time through SBS’ Barefooted Friends on April 21.

Kim Hyun Joong 김현중 awes fellow cast members with his good looks on ‘Barefoot Friends’

On the first broadcast of SBS ‘Barefoot Friends‘, the cast members took some time to get to know each other. Ahead of the their first expedition, they filmed a virtual greeting to their fellow teammates, sending them to everyone on the cast list.

Hilariously, nearly everyone who watched Kim Hyun Joong‘s message had only one thing to say. “He’s really good-looking,” said Yoon Si Yoon, Eunhyuk, and Kim Bum Soo.

Kim Hyun Joong had more to say, however. “It’s been a while since I’ve promoted in Korea,” he said. “I think my unique character, which hasn’t been seen in a long time, will bring joy on Sunday nights.”

Perhaps because of his good looks, he ended up getting the most replies from the cast members to his virtual message, ahead of the cast’s departure to Vietnam.

Barefoot Friends will be shown on tv at 21 April 2013 (today), and will air every Sunday at 4:55 PM on SBS Channel. :)

"Barefoot Friends" actually go barefoot in preview of the first episode

Appropriate to the title of ‘Barefoot Friends‘, the cast of the show went barefoot for the first episode! 

SBS had already released the first preview, and they now released another one in which the cast ditch their shoes for various activities, including a performance in front of a crowd. The preview ends with the cast attempting a barefoot high-five, keeping true to the title of the show. 

In addition to featuring ‘nation’s MC’ Kang Ho Dong, the cast lineup includes Yoo Se Yoon, Yoon Jong Shin, Kim Hyun Joong, Yoon Si Yoon, Kim Bum Soo, Super Junior‘s Eunhyuk, and After School‘s UEE. The first episode will air on April 21st.
